Paula has been on the management team since 2011. Diego Morales will pursue his position as director of litigation and Gastón Chillier will take on the role of director of the international team.
Paula has been part of the CELS’ team since 2004 and has focused centrally on the protection of human rights in questions related to criminal justice policy and security, mechanisms of the judicial system, security forces and intelligence. Between 2011 and 2019, Paula directed the organization’s Justice and Security area’s national and international lines of work and was also in charge of building alliances with social organizations and community leaders.
